The Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Programme(TEEP) through the Tony Elumelu Foundation has received a grant of $5,000 Million from the African Development Bank (AfDB) to support African Entrepreneurs in the Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) sector.
The board of directors of the African Development Bank (AfDB) announced the grant which will empower additional 1,000 African entrepreneurs in the Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Programme.
The AfDB and Tony Elumelu Foundation partnership will support 3,050 young entrepreneurs across 54 African countries.
The Tony Elumelu Foundation Entrepreneurship Programme which the application will open January 1 will deliver business training, mentoring, access to networks, markets and seed capital of $5,000 for business development to selected youth-led start-ups in order for them to grow and create jobs.
